Heading into last night's RAW, there were rumours that Rhea Ripley might be injured. The Judgement Day member went into WrestleMania with a wrist injury, and it appears to have been made significantly worse while shooting last week's backstage brawl with Liv Morgan.
The episode kicked off with a dejected Ripley, wearing a sling, heading out to the ring. Mami confirmed that she's been told to vacate the Women's World Championship after being sidelined with an injury that's likely to put her on the shelf for several months. As a result, her year-long reign (which started when she defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39) has ended.
The Eradicator played Morgan for the injury and vowed to be "out for blood" when she returns to WWE. Morgan, who appears to be on the cusp of a heel turn, then came out to mock Ripley (who injured her last year) before security separated them.
However, one of the security guards received a headbutt from Ripley for their troubles!
Backstage, Ripley bid farewell to The Judgement Day - without her, it's easy to imagine the faction falling apart given the apparent tension between Damian Priest and Finn Balor - and it was later announced that a new Women's World Champion is going to be crowned on RAW next week.
Elsewhere on the show, Triple H and Adam Pearce announced that The Miz and R-Truth will no longer be RAW Tag Team Champions; instead, they'll hold the World Tag Team Championships, and The Game (much to the confusion of Truth) proceeded to unveil their new belts.
DIY later beat The Creed Brothers and The New Day to become the #1 contenders for Awesome Truth's newly won titles.
