We recently learned that Charlotte Flair is at home battling COVID-19, and that's left her WrestleMania status in doubt. WWE has removed The Queen from all advertisements for the Show of Shows, and it's thought Rhea Ripley has replaced her in that RAW Women's Championship match against Asuka.
Well, while PWInsider is reporting that Flair has been taken out of those as a "precautionary measure" in case she's not cleared in time (that match could very easily become a Triple Threat), WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair just dropped quite the bombshell on social media.
Responding to his daughter's Tweet about battling the virus, he said: "WrestleMania Will Not Be The Same Without The Queen!" Needless to say, this is the closest we've got to confirmation that Flair will have to miss the Showcase of the Immortals, but it does make sense.
However, her fiancée Andrade has a very different take on the former Women's Champion's status. "4 more days, and you clear #mami I hope and go back to the wrestlemania poster," he said on Twitter around the same time as Flair. Now, we're very much in the dark about what's really going on, but it feels like there might be more to this than meets the eye.
Either way, all the signs are currently pointing to Charlotte Flair missing WrestleMania...
