Rob Gronkowski's hosting skills at WrestleMania left a lot to be desired, but after Mojo Rawley stole the 24/7 Championship from him the night before by pinning R-Truth, "Gronk" got some revenge at the Show of Shows tonight...along with his first WWE title win!
As Rawley was chased down by a group of jobbers, Gronk leapt from his perch looking over the ring in the WWE Performance Center and hit a massive dive on the entire 24/7 title division. That allowed him to pin his so-called friend and steal the championship, a sign that the title could be moving to SmackDown (Gronkowski's assigned brand) moving forward.
This points to WWE having plans for the former football star on Friday nights, but don't be surprised if he doesn't keep the title for particularly long given the nature of the 24/7 Championship!
