We haven't seen Rob Van Dam in WWE for quite some time now and his last appearance was at the 2014 Slammy Awards to present the award for Extreme Moment of the Year. Since then, he's not sounded overly enthusiastic about wrestling for Vince McMahon again but during a recent chat with Justin Barrasso, it seems as if the former WWE and ECW Champion may have softened his stance.
"I know that my fans want to see me back in WWE," he said. "To that, I can say, it’s good to be wanted. I can tell you that I enjoy my days off a lot more than my days on, but I appreciate the fans. It’s because of them I have the life I have. So thank you to the fans, I know they’re going to stick with me for life, and never say never." So, that's better than what we've heard before!
Whether or not it will happen remains to be seen but, if nothing else, he most definitely deserves a Hall of Fame induction somewhere down the line. As always, be sure to stay tuned for updates.
