Earlier this week, it was revealed that Robert Roode and Primo Colon were suspended for 30 days due to Wellness Policy violations. The former's last TV appearance was late last month when he was stretchered out of the arena after receiving a beatdown at the hands of Roman Reigns but he was originally scheduled to compete at TLC.

According to Dave Meltzer, the plan was for Roode to team up with regular tag team partner Dolph Zigger to challenge The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

When WWE learned of the suspension, the match was changed and that's why The Revival were named the new #1 contenders for the titles on last Friday's show. There's still no word on what Roode tested positive for but this is a first offence.
