Roman Reigns And Seth Rollins Clashed During SMACKDOWN - Are The Head Of The Table's Days Numbered?

On Monday, it was confirmed that Seth Rollins will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at this year's Royal Rumble PPV. The original plan had been for Rollins to win the WWE Championship at Day 1, so the expectation now among many fans is that Rollins will somehow steal the Head of the Table's title (setting the stage for Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania).

Last night's episode of SmackDown kicked off with video packages looking back at the history Reigns and Rollins share as members of The Shield. Along the way, we were reminded how Rollins turned his back on The Shield and even cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Lesnar to steal the WWE Championship from Reigns.

Well, the two men met face-to-face in the middle of the ring to close out SmackDown and Rollins took that opportunity to point out how he's won every single match they've ever been in. Reigns accused his old tag team partner of living in the past and made it clear he's in "God mode" these days.

The Usos attempted to attack Rollins during this verbal exchange, but Rollins made his escape as the show ended. Does he have Reigns' number? It certainly feels like it at this point!
