Roman Reigns Attacker Storyline Considered A "Botch" As Eric Bischoff's Leadership Is Called Into Question

It sounds like WWE is planning some major behind the scenes changes after things on SmackDown Live have started taking a turn for the worse with Eric Bischoff in charge. There's some great intel here...

The storyline about Roman Reigns' mystery attacker has gone from being intriguing and exciting to downright baffling and nonsensical. What appeared to be a storyline meant to kick off a feud between The Big Dog and Daniel Bryan now seems to be all about Rowan and we've endured weeks of baffling cliffhangers, doppelgangers, and delays.

Well, according to a new report from The Wrap, the Reigns storyline was "botched so bad that explaining to anyone what it was supposed to be wouldn’t make any sense at all."

The trade adds that SmackDown Live head writer Ryan Ward has been removed from that position and sent on "personal leave," while former RAW head writer Ed Koskey is now set to take his place (205 Live writer Jonathan Baeckstrom will take charge of Monday nights moving forward).

Apparently, Eric Bischoff's leadership of the blue brand is being called into question after one of the writers he hired (Stevie Long) was caught by Michael P.S. Hayes literally sleeping on the job!
