On last week's SmackDown Live, Buddy Murphy was confronted by Roman Reigns backstage, and while it was thought that we'd see them clash at SummerSlam, that match actually happened last night. It was a fantastic highlight of the Tuesday night show, and now The Big Dog has taken to social media to praise his opponent.

After a lengthy stint in NXT, Murphy stole the show on 205 Live before WWE called him up to SmackDown Live during the Superstar Shakeup.

It will be interesting to see what WWE does with Murphy moving forward, as it's clear he has a lot of potential and it would be a shame for WWE to do little more with him than using him as a third wheel in this Roman Reigns storyline.
