There's been some speculation that Buddy Murphy may have been responsible for attacking Roman Reigns on this Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live but on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reveals that the plan is for Daniel Bryan to be revealed as The Big Dog's mystery attacker.

Bryan has been teasing a "career altering" announcement for weeks now and Meltzer notes that the plan is for these two to square off at SummerSlam

If this is correct, WWE is presumably moving away from Bryan being a tag team wrestler, something which is arguably for the best based on how poorly used he's been in that division. We know that Bryan and Reigns have a lot of chemistry in the ring so a lengthy feud featuring the former WWE Champions is definitely something to look forward to.

What do you guys think of this reveal?
