Last night's post-WrestleMania edition of SmackDown featured zero surprises, but the stage was set for a new challenger to step up and face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. The Big Dog kicked off the show alongside Paul Heyman and Jey Uso, and after the counsel to the Tribal Chief put over Daniel Bryan and Edge, Reigns made it clear no one wants to face him.

Why? Well, because he's the man who humbles WWE Hall of Famers. With that, Reigns told Heyman to tell WWE to cut his cheque and fire up the jet because he's leaving.

It was then that Cesaro made his way to the ring and a face-off followed before the trio of heels walked away. They had no interest in hearing the Swiss Superman out, but it's clear the groundwork is being laid for the King of Swing to set his sights on Reigns' championship down the line.

Later in the show, Cesaro actually faced Uso in a killer main event which saw him moments away from winning the match when Seth Rollins interfered. He took Cesaro out and made it clear that things between them aren't over. Something tells us that once the former Intercontinental and United States Champion gets through Rollins, he's definitely be gunning for Reigns.
