Roman Reigns may hold both the WWE and Universal Championships, but the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion won't be appearing on television as regularly moving forward as he once has. The Head of the Table has signed a new deal with WWE that will allow him to spend more time with his family and potentially break into Hollywood the same way The Rock and John Cena once did.

That means he won't be defending the titles at next month's Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event, but in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed WWE's creative plans.

Apparently, the current plan is for Reigns to next defend his championship against Matt Riddle at Money in the Bank on July 2. That's a feud that makes sense given recent events, though The Big Dog will then move on to Randy Orton at SummerSlam on July 30. After clearly emerging victorious once again, we'll then see Reigns defend against Drew McIntyre at Clash in the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.

Plans can always change, but we're clearly looking at another dominant year for Roman Reigns.

The belief is WWE is building to him facing Dwayne Johnson at next year's WrestleMania, but following Cody Rhodes' recent return, it's plausible that's who will eventually dethrone the company's top heel.

Stay tuned for updates.
