On July 1, the Money in the Bank PLE will take place in London, England, and it's now been confirmed that WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns is going to be in attendance.
This presumably means the Tribal Chief will defend his title at the event, though we're guessing this won't be the night he loses it. Reigns doesn't have very many opponents left to feud with, but it appears WWE is waiting to have him potentially drop the belts at next year's WrestleMania (with Cody Rhodes and The Rock among those most likely to dethrone him).
With this news comes some possible spoilers about who will compete in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
According to the @BoozerRasslin Twitter account, Damian Priest, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, and Matt Riddle are among those "almost confirmed" for the bout.
Other names being discussed include Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Finn Balor, Chad Gable, and Edge.
Perhaps most interesting is the fact this alleged insider goes on to claim that, while WWE hasn't decided whether the Ladder Match will feature 6 or 8 Superstars, "[the] UK about to get in the history books."
Time will tell what that means, but WWE is bound to want to pull out all the stops. AEW is on track to sell out Wembley Stadium the following month with All In, and there's no way the company will want to be overshadowed by them.
Keep checking back here for updates as we have them.
