Roman Reigns On Why 2020 Will Be His Year And His Universal Championship Hopes For WRESTLEMANIA

Rumour has it that Roman Reigns will win the Elimination Chamber main event and go on to challenge The Fiend for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. Now, The Big Dog has shared his thoughts on that!

The Elimination Chamber PPV takes place on Sunday, March 8th, and Roman Reigns is currently advertised as being one of the participants in the main event Chamber match. The winner of that will, of course, go on to challenge The Fiend for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania, and The Big Dog sounds confident that 2020 will be his year.

"The time is now," he says in the video below. "I’ve never been in better shape in my life. I’ve never been more prepared. I’ve legitimately been groomed since I was just a little boy for this moment. There’s nobody in the world that can handle this like I can. I’ve been through the fire and back. Like I said, man. This is my time. 2020 is mine."

As for his Universal title aspirations, he added: "Hopefully we can knock it out of the park and take it all the way back here to SoFi [at WrestleMania 37]."

This is a tricky one because Reigns has just started gaining the support of fans. If he's the one to dethrone Bray Wyatt's title reign, it's easy to imagine fans turning on him again, just as they did with Seth Rollins when he came close to picking up with over the popular heel.
