Roman Reigns On Why He Believes He's The Most Important ROYAL RUMBLE Competitor Of All-Time

The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, isn't currently in WWE, but he's now taken to Twitter to point out that he might just be the most important Royal Rumble competitor to have ever graced the squared circle...

Roman Reigns made the decision to walk out of WrestleMania due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, and we've since heard rumblings that WWE (and specifically Vince McMahon) are unhappy with The Big Dog. It's unlikely they would release him, of course, but it could be a while before he's back in that main event scene.

Regardless, Reigns took to Twitter today to comment on FOX Sports 1 airing the 2017 Royal Rumble, and said: "I might be the most important Royal Rumble competitor of all time. Before you start complaining, just think about the last 5 years..."

Some wrestling fans are bound to take issue with that (and already have), but he makes a valid point. Reigns has won the match, and scored a record number of eliminations, and is frequently among the last to be thrown out. Whether that makes him the "most important" competitor ever is another matter, but it's certainly up for debate.

Let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section, and check out Reigns' comments in the Tweet below:
