Roman Reigns is still the WWE Universal Champion after defeating Edge and Daniel Bryan in the triple-threat main event of WrestleMania Night 2... by pinning both of them at the same time.
The match was excellent, with all three men going above and beyond to deliver the goods and pull out all the stops to put on the best show possible. The action was non-stop and occasionally brutal, with some very exciting and hard-hitting spots, including Reigns power-bombing Bryan through the announce desk, Reigns and Edge colliding after both attempting to hit their spears, and Edge locking a Cross-Face on Reigns while forcing the leg of a chair into his mouth!
In the end, Edge hit a Con-Chair-To on Bryan, and was about to do the same to Reigns when Jey Uso stopped him with a superkick. The Head of the Table then seized the advantage, spearing the Rated-R Superstar and hitting him with a Con-Chair-To of his own before dragging him on top of Bryan to score the pinfall victory.
This was a somewhat surprising outcome, as most fans figured Edge would win the championship here. His recent heel turn did make a title change less likely, but it's probably safe to say nobody expected the Big Dog to pin both of his opponents like this.
WWE really seems to be pushing Reigns as the most dominant champion we've seen in quite some time.
