Before Monday's episode of RAW went on the air, WWE confirmed that Roman Reigns would return to provide an update on his leukaemia treatment, while Ric Flair's birthday celebrations were also hyped. Well, that all resulted in some very good ratings for the flagship show.

RAW ended up doing its biggest numbers since last summer and averaged a total of 2.92 million viewers which is up from last week's solid showing as well.

It did suffer from the usual drop but with a massive 3.17 million viewers tuning in for that positive update from The Big Dog, things evened out for what was actually a pretty fantastic episode. It's a shame that a lot of people didn't stick around for that surprise appearance from Batista but his attack on The Nature Boy obviously wasn't revealed beforehand.
