Roman Reigns Shows Up And Wins SMACKDOWN Main Event After Jey Uso Does All The Work

Roman Reigns teamed up with Clash of Champions challenger Jey Uso to take on Sheamus and Baron Corbin in the main event of SmackDown this week, and The Big Dog certainly lived up to his new t-shirt...

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman kicked off this week's episode of SmackDown by welcoming The Big Dog's challenger for the Universal Championship at Clash of Champions, Jey Uso, to the ring. Roman seemed genuinely happy for his cousin... even though he did promise to kick his ass "just like when they were kids."

This brought out King Corbin and Sheamus, and the inevitable tag team match was set for the main event.

Reigns didn't actually start the match with his partner, and only showed up once Jey had done all of the work, hitting the Celtic Warrior with a spear to win the bout for his team. This is similar to what we saw when he won the title at Payback, and may well be part of his new gimmick (why the ref is starting these matches without all of the competitors present is anyone's guess).

Reigns seems somewhat irritated by Uso, but he hasn't turned on his cousin... yet. We may not see that happen until the actual match at Clash of Champions, but if WWE wants to put some real heat on the Big Dog, they'll have him spear Jey out of his boots next Friday.
