Simone Johnson, the daughter of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, has signed a contract with WWE which will see her report to the WWE Performance Center to start training. As you might expect, expectations are high for what she might bring to the table and Roman Reigns is the latest Superstar to share his thoughts on her in-ring future.
"We’re so proud," The Big Dog says in the video below. "Obviously we want her to finish her education and do well in college, but it’s just so great that she has a direction. At such a young age, she has a passion, a direction, and I imagine she’s got a level of intensity to succeed like her father. So I think she’s gonna be just fine."
"She’s obviously got huge shoes to fill, as we all do in our family tree," he added, referring to the storied history of his wrestling family, "but she’s got plenty of help, plenty of resources. It’s just about putting in the hard work, and just finding herself, and she’ll be good."
It's probably going to be a while until we see Simone on NXT programming, but her debut will obviously be watched by everyone and WWE is no doubt anxious to make sure she's 100% ready. Like Reigns says, she has big shoes to fill, and is likely hoping to become a Superstar in her own right over the next few years.
