As Raw got underway tonight, Kurt Angle was about to make good on his threat to strip Brock Lesnar of the Universal Championship when Paul Heyman interrupted him.
The Beast's advocate tried to talk Angle out of his decision, but The GM would not be swayed, and told Heyman that if Lesnar didn't compete at SummerSlam, he would take the title from him.
Enter: Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Elias and Drew McIntyre, who all believe they have the best claim to the throne.
Angle made two triple threat matches, with the winners of both set to square of on next week's show for the right to challenge for the title at SummerSlam. Roman won his, followed by a victory for Lashley in the main event.
