As promised, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns appeared during last night's SmackDown to agree on the "Rules of Engagement" for his and Jimmy Uso's title match at SummerSlam.
However, a standard contract signing which saw Reigns describe his cousin as a "pawn in the game" soon devolved after Jimmy tore up the important document in front of the Tribal Chief.
A shocked Reigns watched on as Jey confirmed they will battle at SummerSlam in "Tribal Combat." H asked if the elders knew, to which the former Tag Team Champion confirmed it was their idea. Now, it appears there's more on the line than just the championship.
Based on what little was said, this will likely be the equivalent of a No-Holds-Barred match, and the segment ended with Reigns and Jey shaking hands and touching heads in an apparent sign of respect. However as Roman left the ring, Solo Sikoa decided to leap into action by hitting his brother with the Somoan Spike.
Reigns prevented it, and Jey hit Solo with a superkick as a surprised Head of the Table watched on.
Could the next swerve in this storyline see The Usos gain their cousin's respect, only for the trio to face a new challenge in Solo? It's hard to say where this Bloodline drama will take us in the months, but it's definitely cementing itself as the best storyline in pro wrestling today.
