WWE had its own category at this year's ESPY's for the first-time ever but the company hasn't managed to find its way on to the main show just yet. The winner of the "Best WWE Moment" category was Roman Reigns for the announcement he made when he returned to WWE after battling leukemia.
The news was revealed during the show's red carpet and while WWE's award wasn't presented on the main broadcast on ABC, just being recognised was a big win for WWE.
"For me to just to be able to be healthy was the only award I needed," Reigns said. "This is just so flattering for everyone to kind of lift me up and show me that support system and love from everybody. It was never about awards or anything like that. It was just about awareness, it was just about sharing my story and hopefully, someone could use it for a little bit of hope."
The other WWE moments which were in the running were Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship win at WrestleMania, the women's Triple Threat match during the same show, and Ronda Rousey winning the RAW Women's Championship at SummerSlam.
