These past couple of weeks have been an eventful one for WWE RAW Women’s champion Ronda Rousey.
The champ first made noise last week during her heated exchange with Becky Lynch on Twitter last week. The two created an exciting buzz around their match that’s been missing since the 2019 Royal Rumble winner announced that she would be facing Rousey for the title at WrestleMania 35.
This past Monday on RAW, Rousey official turned heel, violently attacking Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at the end of the flagship show.
On Rousey’s video blog "Ronda On The Road", which gives viewers personal insight on the mindset of the RAW Women’s champion, the former UFC star addressed her heel turn earlier this week.
At the nine-minute mark, Rousey explains that being booed in her hometown is where all her frustrations began with the WWE universe. Rousey then goes on to bury WWE fans, Becky Lynch, and the notion that wrestling is real:
“It wasn’t a promo they gave me other things to say I didn’t f***ing say it. It’s not a promo. It’s not an act. I’m not going out there and doing their f***ing act anymore, I’m going out there and doing whatever the hell I want. And they can explain it however they want, but f***em. Everybody. WWE Universe included.
I mean that I’m going to disrespect the sport that they all love so much. ‘Ohhhh don’t break kayfabe Ronda!’ Wrestling is scripted. It’s made up. It’s not real. None of those b****** can f***ing touch me. The end.”
Feel free to check out the video for yourself. As previously mentioned, Rousey begins talking about her feelings regarding WWE at the nine-minute mark.
