Ronda Rousey's WWE return ended with a whimper rather than a bang when she lost the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania to Becky Lynch courtesy of a roll-up. The Baddest Woman on the Planet had finally started finding her footing as an unstoppable heel but we've not seen her in the company since last April.

Well, as you might expect, rumours were swirling all last week about Rousey making her return at the Royal Rumble to set up a rematch with Lynch but it didn't happen and Charlotte Flair won the match.

Now, the former UFC star and RAW Women's Champion has taken to social media to have fun with the fans who were convinced that she would be part of the Rumble match. While a lot can change between now and WrestleMania, it seems a return isn't on the cards right now.

That's disappointing but we'll keep you guys updated if we get a positive update at some point!
