When Ronda Rousey left WWE in 2019, it was reported that she hoped to become a mother before stepping back into the squared circle. Now, the Baddest Woman on the Planet has taken to YouTube to confirm that the Baddest Baby on the Planet is due this September (meaning she's four months pregnant).
Rousey shared a video to her YouTube channel - that's since been removed - sharing footage from her January doctor's appointment in which she and husband Travis Browne received the news.
The former RAW Women's Champion indicated that a gender reveal is on the way, and thanked everyone for the well-wishes and positivity that got them to this crucial point in their life. It was recently reported that Rousey's WWE contract expired on April 10th, but WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan would later say that he believes she's "coming back at a certain point in time."
Rousey's final match was in a Triple Threat bout at WrestleMania which saw her lose the title to Becky Lynch. A rematch seemed all but guaranteed, but it's yet to happen, and probably won't now.
Yes, it's possible she will one day step back into a WWE ring, but not for a year or more at the very least...by that point, it's debatable whether she would even want to! Rousey didn't take kindly to the way fans turned on her during her WWE run and has since spoken negatively about the toughness of many of the other women in the company's locker room.
Regardless, we wish Ronda and Travis all the best!
