Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks is official for the RAW Women’s championship at the Royal Rumble; however, could this be the beginning of a bigger story?
The RAW women’s champ posted on social media about it being her pleasure to dispel the fantasy of the faux horsewomen at the Royal Rumble:
It’s been no secret that the WWE has wanted to do a WWE horsewomen vs. UFC horsewomen match ever since Rousey stepped foot into the company.
In fact, WWE teased the match with Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir back in 2017 as the group had a face-off with WWE’s horsewomen, which is Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley.
Of course, nothing ultimately happened, but with Rousey facing Banks at the RR and then reportedly set to clash against Charlotte and Becky at a later date, perhaps the company could be looking for a future match down the line.
