Ronda Rousey Shows Up After The Women's ROYAL RUMBLE Match; Signs A Full-Time WWE Contract

Well, the rumors were true... kinda. Though Ronda Rousey wasn't a surprise entrant in the women's Royal Rumble match, she did show up afterwards, and it's now been revealed that she's signed full time with WWE.

Holy s*hit, indeed.

The show wasn't over when Asuka claimed her victory in the first ever women's Royal Rumble match tonight, as former UFC phenom Ronda Rousey made her way to the ring (wearing an awesome Rowdy Roddy Piper-inspired t-shirt, incidentally) and pointed to the WrestleMania sign. Rousey then shook hands with Stephanie McMahon at ringside and made her way to the back.

This obviously signifies that The Rowdy One will have a match of some kind at 'Mania, but it won't be a one-and-done type deal! Once the show was over, it was officially revealed that Rousey had signed on to become a "full-time professional wrestler" with WWE.

Here's what the former UFC Bantamweight Champ had to say to ESPN:

“This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much.”

Pretty damn incredible news, we're sure you'll agree. Let us know what you think of this exciting development in the usual place.
