Next month, WWE will hold the first all-female Royal Rumble match. Speculation is already running rampant about what that might entail but a new rumour points to UFC legend Ronda Rousey making her long overdue wrestling debut at the event. She's a huge WWE fan and there have been rumblings for years about what she could do in the company now that here MMA career is at an end.

Well, according to Dave Meltzer, there may be a very good reason that Asuka's finisher has been changed to an armbar in recent weeks; it's because she's being primed to square off with Rousey!

If things do pan out like this, that obviously means Asuka will likely win the title either before or at the Royal Rumble and pitting the formidable UFC competitor against WWE's only undefeated wrestler would definitely make for a huge match at Wrestlemania! Bear in mind that the original plan for Rousey was supposed to be a Four Horsewoman vs. Four Horsewoman match at the event.

Why things have changed isn't clear but it's clear WWE has some big plans for Rousey and that this Royal Rumble match will be a must-see event right up there with the one featuring male Superstars.
