During last night's episode of RAW, Bron Breakker put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Penta. However, the match reached a disappointing end when Dominik Mysterio caused a disqualification by interfering and attacking Breakker.
The Judgement Day's Finn Balor also made his way out to the ring and took out Breakker with a steel chair. While "Dirty" Dom attempted to get Penta to join in, he instead took the heel out before Balor put him down to end the show as the last man standing (Dom and Carlito later joined him).
According to a new report from Fightful, this is all part of WWE's plan for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania next month.
It's said that the current idea is for Breakker to defend his championship against Penta, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio in a Fatal 4-Way match on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
That's an interesting direction to take things in and will likely put an end to The Judgement Day - in its current form at least - as both Balor and Mysterio battle for the prestigious title.
"I have a few names," Penta previously said of his dream opponents in WWE. "But the truth is, no matter who is in the ring, no matter what he won, I want to win everything in WWE."
"John Cena, Punk, Cody, Seth Rollins, The Tribal Chief, Fatu, Bron Breakker. A lot of wrestlers I want for Penta. For example with CM Punk I had one match, he won, I need revenge," he continued. "The rematch with him, with Cody too. But for me, a special dream match is Penta versus John Cena or Penta versus Finn Balor."
As for whether he prefers being a singles star or working on a tag team with his brother Ray Fenix (who is also WWE bound), Penta added, "I really enjoy both. When I team with my brother it’s very special because he is my real brother. For me, he is the best wrestler in the world. When I am in the corner and my brother is in the ring, I enjoy every move. When he gives me the tag, oh, it’s my turn."
"But when I am by myself in the ring, Penta is more like Shakespeare. It’s like, okay, this is Shakespeare. I love the crowd. I enjoy both," he added. "But if I need to choose something, it’s difficult. I’ll say both."
Who will you be rooting for in this Fatal 4-Way match at WrestleMania?
