Remember when WWE was hyping EC3 as one of the next big things in the company? Well, he made an appearance on RAW last night and was squashed by the returning Rusev in a matter of minutes. Needless to say, he's clearly upset someone backstage.

However, something that's worth noting is that Renee Young seemingly made it clear on commentary that Rusev is not the father of Maria Kanellis' baby despite it appearing that way last week.

That storyline wasn't advanced at all on RAW and while it probably hasn't been abandoned, it seems WWE may have chosen to move on from the idea that Rusev is involved in any way. Needless to say, we'll be sure to keep you guys updated as we learn more.
