Sami Zayn is the new Intercontinental Champion after pinning Braun Strowman at Elimination Chamber.
Many fans were worried that Braun was going to retain against three top opponents (burying them in the process), but despite putting up as great a fight as you'd expect, the combined skill and power of Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro along with the craftiness of Zayn proved too much for even The Monster Among Men to withstand.
After a Kinshasa against the ringpost from The Artist, he and Cesaro held Strowman up for Sami's Heluva Kick, and then cleared the ring to allow him to pin their opponent and win the title.
A singles championship run for Zayn is long overdue, but let's hope Shin and Cesaro aren't utilized as little more than his lackeys moving forward.
