Sami Zayn Returns To RAW And Cuts An Anti-Smark Heel Promo On The WWE Universe

If you were hoping to see Sami Zayn return as a face, prepare to be disappointed. Last night on Raw, The Underdog from the Underground made his comeback after being out with an injury, and he's still a prick.

Sami Zayn is back, and he's just as irritating as ever.

The talented Superstar has been out of action with a shoulder injury for months now but he returned last night on Raw to a massive ovation. Zayn wasted little time in asking for a match, and his challenge was answered by Finn Balor, who put his newly won IC title on the line.

When Balor scored the pin with a Coup de Gras, Zayn revealed that he was still very much a heel by taking the WWE Universe to task for being overly critical of the product.

“It tuns out WWE is a super toxic environment. It’s not because of the McMahons. And it ain’t because of the other WWE Superstars,” he spat. “It’s because of this audience, and your ugliness!”

It looks like WWE has found a way to call out "haters" through Sami's new gimmick. We see this getting old pretty fast, to be honest.
