Samoa Joe and Cedric Alexander both moved on to the second leg of this year's King of the Ring tournament on Monday Night Raw.

Joe took on Cesaro in an impressively hard-hitting match, and was ultimately able to lock in his Coquina Clutch for the tap-out victory. Then, Alexander went toe-to-toe with Sami Zayn later in the night. This had the potential to be another great bout, but they were given barely any time and the former Cruiserweight Champion scored a pinfall victory with his Lumbar Check after a few mediocre minutes.

Tune in to SmackDown LIVE later tonight to find out which blue brand Superstars will be joining them in the second round.
