The Samoan Submission Machine managed to lock the Coquina Clutch on Daniel Bryan during the main even of SmackDown LIVE and claim the final spot in the men's Money in the Bank Ladder match.

While Joe and Bryan had a few nice spots during the bout, fans were robbed of their highly-anticipated one-on-one encounter by the addition of Big Cass, who walked out to the ring on crutches at the start of the show only to reveal that he was feigning injury and had been cleared to return to action.

At the end of the match, Cass hit Daniel with a big boot, confirming that their feud is far from over.

Joe, meanwhile, heads into MITB as the new favorite to retrieve that briefcase.
