Last night's SmackDown Live saw a sombre AJ Styles attempt to address his action at SummerSlam on Sunday where he was disqualified for brutally attacking Samoa Joe with a chair after he made some pretty distasteful comments about Styles' wife and children. However, he got some revenge last night when he locked in the Coquina Clutch and put his rival to sleep in a matter of seconds.

He then made some more disparaging remarks about Wendy Styles and AJ's children, something which is bound to make this rivalry even more heated as we head into the Hell in a Cell PPV.

Rumour has it that they'll clash in a Hell in a Cell match at the event which would definitely be a fitting way to continue this rivalry. Whether or not Joe will become WWE Champion remains to be seen, especially as Styles is the WWE 2K19 cover star and WWE will likely want to keep the title on him during the promotional campaign for that. Who are you guys rooting for? Sound off down below.
