WWE has announced that Samoa Joe will be back in action during tonight's episode of RAW but the fan-favourite Superstar actually competed at a WWE Live event on Saturday night in Oakland, California.

According to fans in attendance, Joe teamed up with regular tag team partner Kevin Owens to defeat The Authors of Pain. This was his first match in a number of weeks after suffering what was thought to be a concussion during RAW (there were rumours he had violated WWE's Wellness Policy but those were incorrect).

As we previously reported, WWE has confirmed that Joe will be paired with Owens and The Viking Raiders for an eight-man tag team match against the AOP and RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy tonight.

We'll let you know how that one goes later on!
