Samoa Joe has been plagued by injury issues since arriving on WWE's main roster, and that means we've never really seen him get the push he deserves. After returning to the ring, he suffered a concussion while shooting a commercial for the company, and has been serving as a member of RAW's commentary team ever since.
Recently, The Destroyer was a guest on former TNA Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde's "Wilde On" podcast. They've been good friends since they were in TNA together, and Joe was asked about his plans moving forward.
"Right now I’m enjoying commentary on RAW," he said. "It’s been a fun challenge. Obviously, I’m not done in the ring by no means. I think right now I’m exploring things. Aside from that, I’m doing voice acting which is fun and very cool. It’s a very enjoyable thing. I have a project coming up with Warner Brothers. I’m very fortunate and I’m very happy that I’m doing the things I’m doing right now."
It's definitely intriguing to wonder what that project with Warner Bros. is, and it's feasible he's landed some sort of acting gig. Either way, it will be great to see him back in the ring sooner rather than later, even if he is knocking it out of the park as part of the RAW commentary team.
