Samoa Joe hasn't exactly reached the heights he should have since arriving on the main roster but he was amazing from start to finish in NXT and has delivered some killer matches on
RAW and
SmackDown Live as well.
Now, Joe has revealed Vince McMahon's reaction to him initially attempting to join the company.
"Vince vehemently opposed me being in WWE," he reveals. "He didn’t know me, wasn’t familiar with me. And now we have a great relationship, everything’s working fine.I think he just realize he already bought it, so he might as well use it. No, like I said, with every partner I’ve ever worked with it’s about time and understanding. And we’ve had some time and we’ve had some understanding. It’s working out pretty well."
While Joe says that things are good between him and Vince, it's hard not to wonder how much faith he has in Joe, especially as he's fallen short of winning both the WWE and Universal Championships on a number of occasions.
With any luck, things will look up for him after The Draft.
