Former RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks recently sat down for an interview on the WFNZ Show to promote last night's Clash of Champions PPV and the subject of her taking time off from WWE quickly came up.

After reportedly falling out with WWE officials over their decision to strip her and Bayley of the Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, she vanished from the company and it was widely reported that she was planning on leaving. Something changed, though, and she's now back and seemingly happy with her position.

So, why did she take that time off?

"I’ve been doing this for seven years straight, no breaks," Banks said. "People need to step back, re-evaluate their lives, take care of their souls, and their minds. I’m back and better than ever. I got myself a championship match on Sunday, so I think I did quite well for myself."
