It's been an interesting week for Sasha Banks.
The former RAW Women’s champion made headlines earlier in the week with her cryptic post on social media, before dropping out of her appearance on The Wendy Williams show. Sources then reported that the RAW Superstar was said to be upset over losing the WWE Tag Team titles to the IIconics at WrestleMania 35 in a fatal-four way match also featuring Beth Phoenix and Natalya & Nia Jax and Tamina.
“The Boss” initially believed that the company would give her and Bayley a lengthy title reign to legitimize the duo and the belts, so after Banks and Bayley dropped the titles on Sunday, reports claimed that Banks tried to quit the company.
Officials have given the RAW superstar time to cool off as management believes that the decision was simply an “in the moment” choice; however, Banks continues to show her displeasure over what transpired over the weekend.
It's been revealed that Banks has unfollowed WWE on the company’s official Twitter account. Instead, she now follows Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and All Elite Wrestling. It's also been reported that Banks re-signed a multi-year deal with the company last year, so her contract won’t end anytime soon. It’s believed that her request to leave WWE has been denied by Vince and company.
