Sasha Banks "Defeats" Asuka At EXTREME RULES To Become New RAW Women's Champion... Kinda

Sasha Banks is the new Raw Women's Champion... or is she?

The Boss faced Asuka with the title on the line at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, and they had a typically excellent encounter which was marred somewhat by constant interference and a screwy finish.

After several stiff spots and exciting near falls, Bayley was able to take out Kairi Sane at ringside and slide the WWE Women's Tag-Team titles into the ring. The ref noticed, but was distracted long enough for Banks to escape the Asuka Lock after tapping out behind his back. Then, The Empress of Tomorrow spit mist at The Boss but inadvertently hit the ref. Bayley then hit Asuka for behind with the title, took the ref's shirt off and put it on, and counted the three count with Sasha covering her opponent.

The pair forced the ring announcer to ring the bell and left with the Raw Women's Championship.

Bayley is obviously not an official and can't legally count a pinfall like this, but this is WWE were're talking about, so for all we know Banks will be recognized as the new champ. Tune into Raw later tonight for an update.
