Sasha Banks Is The New SMACKDOWN Women's Champion After Defeating Bayley At HELL IN A CELL

Sasha Banks became SmackDown Women's Champion at Hell in a Cell for the first time, ending Bayley's historic reign by forcing her to tap-out inside the unforgiving steel structure.

This was arguably the match of the night, and really should have main-evented the show. It was exciting and hard-hitting right from the off, with both women pulling out all the stops to secure a victory and put an end to what's been a highly compelling feud.

After hitting each other with everything but the kitchen sink (chairs, ladders, kendo sticks, tables), The Boss was able to counter a Bayley to Belly and lock on the Banks Statement with the aid of a chair, giving her former friend no choice but to submit.

Sasha always seemed like the favourite to win here, having never held the blue brand's Women's Championship or been victorious in either of her other two HIAC matches.

Is this the end of her feud with Bayley? We wouldn't be surprised if they squeezed at least one more match out of it, but we'll just have to wait and see.
