Sasha Banks Reportedly Wants To Sit Out The Remainder Of Her WWE Contract

It sounds like Sasha Banks has reached a stalemate with WWE because Dave Meltzer is reporting that she's looking to sit out the remainder of her contract with the company.

It was previously reported that Banks asked to be released from her contract during WrestleMania weekend when she learned that she was being split from Bayley and that their run as the Women's Tag Team Champions was set to come to an abrupt end. Instead, WWE sent The Boss home to cool off.

It's unclear when Banks would actually be able to leave WWE but if she chooses to sit it out, she'll be forced to stay off the radar similar to Neville. WWE does still want the popular Superstar to stick around but it seems the two sides have very different ideas about where her career should go.

As always, stay tuned for updates because we'll hopefully learn more about the situation soon.
