We had assumed this would be saved for the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV event, but next Friday on SmackDown, Sasha Banks will face Bayley for her blue brand Women's Championship.

The Boss made her way out to the ring for a promo during last night's show, revealing that she'll receive her title shot next week. Banks told Bayley that she made a big mistake when she tried to end her career with a steel chair, and that if she knew her at all, she should know that payback was going to be a bitch.

Or something. We love Sasha, but she's never been great at cutting a compelling promo!

Banks then removed her neck brace, making it clear that she's ready to step in the ring with her former friend and tag team partner.

Banks and Bayley are heavily rumoured to face-off in the main event of Hell in a Cell, so there's a chance this match either won't happen, or end in a DQ/no contest to set up a second encounter at the PPV.

Also announced for next week's episode of SmackDown: Big E will take on Sheamus in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, and Kevin Owens will do battle with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt.
