Sasha Banks will get the opportunity to add some more gold to her collection when she faces Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship at Extreme Rules.
Banks and Bayley defended the WWE Women's Tag-Team Championships against The IIconics on Raw this week, and despite a lot of speculation that Billie Kay and Peyton Royce would pull out the victory, The Boss was able to force the latter to tap out to her Banks Statement.
After the match, Banks pulled a swerve by making fans think she was going to challenge her partner for the SmackDown Women's Championship, before calling out The Empress of Tomorrow instead. Asuka made her way to the ring to accept Sasha's challenge, before being jumped from behind by Bayley. The Boss then locked her submission hold on the Raw Women's Champion.
This should be an interesting match, as WWE must be tempted to put the title on Banks so that both halves of the Women's Tag-Champs could also hold the top singles championships. That would be cool, but a dominant reign for Asuka would be even cooler!
