Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux had one of the hottest acts in NXT, but when they were called up to the main roster...well, it all started going wrong. The two were quickly separated, and Kross - formerly one of the black and gold brand's most formidable NXT Champions - became a mid-carder in a silly costume. Needless to say, none of us were surprised to see them released.
While it's undoubtedly a massive mistake on WWE's part, the hope is they'll eventually reunite in AEW or IMPACT Wrestling. Recently, Kross and Scarlett appeared on Oral Sessions with Renée Paquette and the latter shared her thoughts on why WWE decided to end their double act.
"They had us doing Main Event matches. We did dark matches. They wanted to see everything," she recalled. "I joked with [Kross] the day I had to wrestle and said, ‘What if the match is too good, they really like it, and then they want to separate us?’ That was one of my fears. He said, ‘No, just kill it, it’s going to be fine, no matter what.’ I think the first match was really good [with Shotzi Blackheart] and then they saw that."
Unfortunately, an issue with a damaged breast implant saw Scarlett sidelined for months, so we never got to see her on RAW or SmackDown. She's making the most of her freedom from WWE, though, launching an OnlyFans and sharing more jaw-dropping photos on her social media:
