Seth Rollins added another "disciple" to his new faction last week in the form of Buddy Murphy, and the pair managed to defeat The Viking Raiders last night on Raw to become the new Tag-Team Champions.
The Raiders backed up Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe to open the show, and when they cleared the ring the Monday Night Messiah vowed vengeance, demanding a tag-team title match for later in the night. The bout itself was a decent back and forth affair marred by constant interference from The Authors of Pain, and in the end Murphy and Rollins were able to separate Erik and Ivar long enough to deliver their finishers to the latter and score the pinfall victory.
It's odd that The AOP weren't the ones to challenge for the titles here, but such is the current booking on WWE's main shows. Perhaps it'll lead to dissension in the ranks down the line? Whatever the reason, we have new tag-champs on Raw.
