Seth Rollins Comments On The Recent Shield Reunion; Believes The Hounds Of Justice Will Reform Again
Bouts of illness and injuries ensured that the recent Shield reunion did not go according to plan (to put it mildly), but Seth Rollins believes there's still a chance that The Hounds of Justice could reform.
The recent Shield reunion never got off the ground due to an unfortunate series of events and some truly awful timing. However, one member of the trio believes there's still a chance for another run with his brothers.
During an interview with APP.com, Seth Rollins commented on the events that wound up derailing the Hounds of Justice's reunion, and seems hopeful that they will reform again once Dean Ambrose returns from injury.
“It really started off great, I thought. The reconciliation over the summer, myself and Ambrose winning tag team titles, and then bringing Roman into the fold was really well done and a lot of fun and exciting. And then, you know, the mumps happened, and there’s nothing you can really do about that, so that threw a real wrench into the plans. And Ambrose got hurt, so what can you do? That’s part of the business, that’s part of the game.
One thing that’s exciting about it is I think it leaves us a lot of room for future Shield reunions, so that’s cool to see. If we get an opportunity to do that at some point down the road that would be great. You know, we haven’t done it and thrown it away and wasted it. But yeah man, it’s just (that) stuff happens, you can’t predict those variables of people getting sick or injured.”
Though The Lunatic Fringe is on the mend, it sounds like he'll be out of action for another few months - but could we potentially see The Shield back in action by the end of the year?
Probably wishful thinking, but you never know!
