When CM Punk returned to WWE last year, the plan had been for him to face World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
His injury after taking a Future Shock DDT from Drew McIntyre during this year's Men's Royal Rumble derailed those plans and WWE pivoted to building a feud between the Scottish Psychopath and the Second City Saint.
However, during last night's RAW, WWE returned to Punk and Rollins' issues with each other during a heated promo. While Punk initially apologised to the former champion, he couldn't help but take some shots at the babyface and the situation quickly worsened.
Rollins, furious over Punk's role in his failing to capture the World Heavyweight title at Money in the Bank on Saturday, vowed to deal with the Best in the World when he's cleared before he can even think about getting his hands on McIntyre.
Is WWE setting up a Triple Threat match for SummerSlam? It's possible, especially as Rollins has no clear opponent for the upcoming PLE.
Later in the show, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed that McIntyre - who is currently suspended for attacking him after Money in the Bank - will be on next week's RAW to discuss where they go from here.
Once Punk is done with Rollins and McIntyre, he may move on to...John Cena?
"Cena, to my career, means a lot," he said during a press conference this past weekend. "I don’t think there’s many people up in that rare air where if you talk about my career, I feel you have to talk about John and it makes me feel proud that I think if you talk about John’s career I think you have to talk about me."
"We’re married in that respect. I’m proud of him, he gets to go out on his terms, I know that’s important. I’m looking forward to what he does and I told him that if it’s going to be one more time, we’ve got to do it at least one more time."
That would be one heck of a match to see given their history, so fingers crossed it pans out.
