Seth Rollins Pins Brock Lesnar To Regain The Universal Championship At SUMMERSLAM

Seth Rollins guaranteed that he'd beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam on Raw this past Monday, and that's exactly what he did in tonight's excellent main event - although it was no easy task. More past the jump.

Seth Rollins is the new WWE Universal Champion after defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

The PPV was a mixed bag, but this main event was well worth waiting for. The Beast started off as dominant as ever, and flung his opponent around the ring like a rag-doll while targeting his injured ribs. However, Rollins was able to counter several suplexes and land a few well-placed kicks and stomps to weaken the champion.

At one point, Seth laid Brock out on the announce desk and hit an incredible frog splash from the turnbuckle post.

Lesnar was eventually able to recover and hook Rollins up for an F-5, but another counter/superkick/stomp combo later, and Seth Rollins is once again the Beast Slayer, and once again Universal Champion.
