Seth Rollins Retained His IC Title In An Excellent TABLES LADDERS & CHAIRS Match Against Baron Corbin

Credit where credit is due, Raw pulled out all the stops for tonight's main event, which saw Seth Rollins successfully defend his intercontinental championship in a brutal TLC match against Baron Corbin...

Though nothing special, it's fair to say that tonight's Raw was an improvement over the last couple of shows (not that this would have been difficult), and the main event definitely solidified that.

Seth Rollins defended the IC title against GM Elect Baron Corbin in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, and it was better than it had any right to be. Rollins never disappoints, but credit must also go to the one-time Lone Wolf who had arguably his best showing to date.

Corbin actually dominated much of the bout, which saw liberal use of all three punishing items and a spectacular frog splash from The Kingslayer to put his opponent through a table. In the end, referee Heath Slater attempted to cost Seth the match (it's unclear if he's actually heel or still reluctantly following Corbin's orders), but against all the odds the former Shield member managed to put Corbin through another table and hit him with a stomp before climbing the ladder and claiming his prize.

Rollins will defend his title again at TLC this Sunday against Dean Ambrose.
